Just had two excellent days off - spent at Thorpe Park (school holidays - madness) ended up spending a fortune just fast-tracking the rides - I don't do queues! Also greatfully satisfying when annoying people who try to jump in queue are bumped off the ride for being too fat to fit in! Shame!
So refreshed and mentally ready for a busy Friday lunch I'm unable to open the kitchen because we have 3 new pieces of equipment bein installed! Phil, our area manager, must be in a very good mood as I only requested tow. Much love to you Mr. Dukelow! That's why you're the Area Manager of the Year! There are a few other items I'd like though.....

Hi, I’m Simon the chef at the newly re-quipped and re-arranged Halfway House kitchen. I’m going to introduce a few new things, twists and tweaks to our menu. I’d love to make our food offer a bit different and unique to the Halfway customers. So to that end I need your help and participation, and more importantly your feedback. • I will always do my best to make your food exceed your expectations.
• For roast potatoes I always use beef drippings.
• I can be kind to vegetarians (on occasions).
• I love catering for events/socials and soirees, and since Christmas is looming it’s clearly time to wax-lyrical about that! So whatever your event, we can tailor and function package to suit your needs.
Tanya, our general manager, is as serious about food as she is about creating the most relaxed, funky venue in Earlsvegas.
