Help a London Child specialises in funding grass root projects, providing opportunities to thousands of London’s disadvantaged children and young people.
We were one of 14 pubs within Young's aiming to raise a Grand Total of £10,000 over the last few months.
The Fundraising culminated in a week of activities at each venue from 5th July until 11th July 2009.

The Halfway House had a target of £1.000 to fundraise, but as you know we don’t do things in Half Measures here!

Our Great Team & Patrons helped us to reach our target and finally raised £1620.97 (!) through sales of our popular Vodka Jellies, tucking in at our Tuck shop, dressing up for our May School Disco, sponsoring our Hairy Barman Ruben to cool of this summer by shaving his Head, our Car Boot sale in Spread Eagle Wandsworth and finally Help a London Child week when school dinners were served, our staff were dressed up in school uniforms and School Pub Quiz has taken place.
